Light Fighter Manifesto L.L.C. is a single-member Georgia limited liability company. We have published since 2022. Email is the fastest way to reach us, at [email protected]. Our postal address is PO Box 220, Meansville, GA 30256.

Include your order number when you write. It starts with LFM- and is in your confirmation email.

Shipping is one flat rate per order. You see it before you pay, and it is charged once, however many items you buy. US orders go by USPS Ground Advantage, which is tracked and insured. Orders to Canada go by USPS international mail.

If we cannot ship within the time we stated, we will email you a new date. You can wait, or cancel for a full refund. That choice is always yours.

Canada. Your parcel ships from the United States, so it is an export and we charge no tax on it. When it arrives, Canada may charge GST or duty, and the carrier may add a handling fee. We cannot collect or predict those charges, so please allow for them before you order.

We pay for each print run up front, and a returned copy cannot be resold. So we do not accept returns or exchanges once your order is on its way.

Until it ships, you can cancel. Email us and we will refund you in full within seven working days. That includes preorders, for as long as you are waiting.

If we send you the wrong item, we will put it right at our cost. Lost and damaged parcels are covered below.

The LFM Reader edition is a Volume you read in the free LFM Reader app. Each one you buy is yours to keep, and its licence never expires.

Until you first download it, you can cancel. Email us and we will refund you in full within seven working days. Once the Volume has been downloaded to any of your devices, the sale is final, because a refund cannot take that copy back.

Check your phone before you buy. The app runs only on devices that keep their keys in secure hardware; the LFM Reader page lists them. If your device cannot run it, you will not have downloaded anything, so you can still cancel for a full refund.

Three devices. One purchase opens on up to three of your devices. To use another, remove one in the app's Devices screen first. A removed device deletes its Volumes the next time it goes online.

Signing in. There are no passwords. You enter the email address you used at checkout, and we email you a six-digit code. Each code works once, for ten minutes.

What the lock does, and what it does not. Each Volume is encrypted, and its key goes only to devices signed in to your account. The app has no print, share or export function, and a file copied off your phone opens nowhere else. The lock stops casual copying. It cannot stop someone photographing the screen.

Contact us first, not the carrier. We handle the USPS claim ourselves, because we hold the proof of mailing it needs.

Then you choose: a replacement or a full refund. If the title has sold out, we will tell you so rather than keep you waiting on a reprint.

One deadline we cannot move: USPS will not accept a claim more than 60 days after a parcel is mailed.

Nothing can be recoveredNot by us and not by you. Please tell us promptly.

We run the course once a quarter, with eight paid seats. Two more people can join a waiting list, and the waiting list is free. If a seat opens, we email the next person on the list a payment link, and the seat is theirs once they pay.

Seats are not refundable. We buy supplies, book the site and turn other people away to hold your place, and that money is spent well before the course.

If you cannot make it, your seat moves to the next quarter. Tell us at least 14 days before the course and there is no charge to move it. A seat can be moved once. After that it counts as used, and so does the seat of anyone who does not show up.

If we cancel or reschedule a course, you choose: the new date or a full refund.

Before you pay for a seat, you read and accept the course release. You sign it again on paper at check-in.

The course is physical, outdoors and in a group. Before you commit, we tell you what to bring and what the two days demand. If anything would make the course unsafe for you or for others, tell us and we will work it out with you.

Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. The charge appears on your statement as LIGHTFIGHTERMANIFESTO.

Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax is added at checkout where we are registered to collect it.

We collect only what an order needs: your email address, your name and, for anything we ship, your mailing address. We use them to take payment, ship your order and keep you updated on it.

We never sell your details. We share them only with the companies that must handle them: Stripe, to process payment; Cloudflare, which hosts our store and sends our order emails; and USPS, to deliver your parcel.

For the LFM Reader edition we also keep which Volumes you own and, for each device you add, its public key, its maker and model, and when it was added or removed. We log each sign-in, device change, download and licence. A sign-in code is stored only in a form that cannot be read back. Your IP address is used only to limit repeated requests, and we delete those records after a day. Reading happens on your device and never contacts us, so we do not see what you read or for how long.

The Dispatch, our email newsletter, is separate. You are on it only if you signed up, and every issue has an unsubscribe link.

How long we keep things. We keep the financial record of an order (the amount, the date and the order number) for seven years, for tax purposes. We delete your mailing address twelve months after delivery.

Ask us what we hold about you and we will tell you. Ask us to delete anything we are not required to keep, and we will. Deleting your LFM Reader account also removes the Volumes bought on it from your devices, and they cannot be downloaded again.

We publish educational material. It describes, explains and documents, and it cites its sources so you can read them yourself.
